Sunrise in Mossel Bay

Mossel Bay's four star The Point Hotel is on the very edge of the Indian ocean, is just below the magnificent St. Blaize lighthouse, and serves the meanest seafood curry I've ever tasted.

At 09h00 I'm launching on to the 3-day long Oystercatcher Trail along the coast, in the direction of Cape Town. I'm walking it with BarefootWriter Martin Hatchuel www.barefootclients.co.za. Today's stretch is a 15km one. More about it later... much later.

For now it's breakfast time while watching the sun rise over the ocean.

Oh, oh, oh! Damnit, what I'd do to be down there, too! To see the ocean and mountains again.. to smell the sea air. Let's just say I was overtly heavy-hearted this morning when my folks left for Sedgefield. :( And now these stunning shots, Charles! Oh.. you're playing with my senses and emotions! Haha.. that's a good sign - I'm alive and you're a great writer and photographer! You must enjoy every bit (and bite!) of it. Say hi to Martin. x
