Entries for the 20th SAB Environmental Journalists of the Year Awards close on 1 September 2008. Over the past 19 years, these awards have been established as one of the most prestigious awards for journalists covering crucial developments in the environmental arena.
These awards focus on the entire spectrum of "green" and "brown" issues. Green issues address natural or ecological matters. Brown issues focus more on cities and urban concerns such as waste in our streets, polluted air etc.
